I have had the pleasure of working with some fine photographers over the years.
Here is a sample of their work; they are listed in alphabetical order.

Nick Arroyo
Nick Arroyo was a staff photographer for the AJC for many years.
He is also an avid jazz lover and records big bands live as a hobby.

DJ Bing - www.djbing.com
DJ has a great eye. His other eye is pretty good too.
: )
Bing's photo shoot was the first really fun, relaxing shoot I did.
The beautiful woman with me is Eden-Fae; a talented artist. You can see her work at Art.

Yvonne Boyd - info@yvonneboyd.com
This was taken during the recording of one of Jeannie Johnson's albums at Dee Dee Vogt's studio.

Vincent Bursey - www.fotojazzic.com
Vincent's specialty is capturing musicians live at their art, using only available light.
Thanks, Vincent, for all the great work and good conversations over the years!
Ceaser Garcia
Caeser and his wife Kim were one of the finest photographers in Atlanta before they moved out of state.
Keith Sistrunk - 99x Halloween at The Biltmore Hotel
It's always good to have a goofy shot, and this definitely qualifies!
I was as 'Super Pimp' for Halloween that years. Dig that 70's retro!
Karen Hatchett
Karen is a wonderful P.R. agent and a lady with good taste.
For fun one day, we took these shots.
Arlia Hoffman
Linda Hornik
This was taken at the best smelling gig I ever had - Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on Ponce!
Jessica Jones
Jessica has a great eye and great sensitivity for her subject.
Paula Kandul
Sam Kim
Jeff Lackey

Robert Rushing on drums, Tim Delaney on bass.

Shana Travis Lee
This is what happens when you get four goofballs together.

S
hana shot many fabulous covers for The Piedmont Review,
then moved to Paris and extended her experience into painting and fine art, and recently moved back to Atlanta.
These are just test shots, but they were certainly fun!
Rob Rushing, (drums), Tim Delaney, (bass), me, Karl Weismantel, (guitar).
Aric Lewis
Aric is a nut!
He shot these in mid-winter outdoors in the freezing cold at a warehouse lot on Marietta Street.
We're all pale in the face from lack of circulation!
Aric's now in Los Angeles where the weather is warmer, (thank God for his models).
Courtney Watkins, (pictured left) and Allejandro (bottom) are professional print and runway models.
Manuel Llaneras - www.mlphotography.com
I'll never forget the day I saw shots Manuel took of his homeland Cuba...
there was one taken of the cobblestone streets just after a rain - just exquisite.
Karen Mothershed
These photos will be part of my second album, soon to come.
The beautiful model pictured here is Courtney Watkins, with Elite.
Kemp Muhl
Kemp is a world-class model who likes to do photography and music.
Here, she got behind the lens at my photo shoot with DJ Bing, (above),
and reeled off some fun pics of me with model Eden-Fae, herself an artist - see Art.
We didn't have any fun on this shoot - can you tell?

Mike Nelson
Mike and Andrea did my first professional photo shoot, and I could not have started off better.
They are consummate pros - thanks, guys!
Ceejae Parker
Greg Pershyn
With the exception of the mind-numbing smoke,
(when are they going to pass a real public smoking in Georgia?), Dailey's was one of my favorite gigs.
I met people from all around the world there who dug what we did.
Kristen Raffalovich - www.photographybykristin.com
My cat Stripes, (now gone), was refusing to be photogenic here.
Jon Roy
Jon is a talented and passionate filmmaker and good friend.
Watch for his upcoming musical documentary on the life of musician Harry Partch - one interesting guy!
These were just lighting test shots before the Karen Hatchett shots, (above).
Suzy Schultz - www.suzyschultz.net
Suzy never ceases to surprise me>
She is a fantastic painter - see Art, but when she took these photos to paint from,
I had no idea they would turn out so good!
She could have a second career in photography.
These were taken on a cold day, and my fingers started going numb.
Lynn Sitbon
A shot of the first 'Dave Bass Quartet', taken in Vinings.

Dylan Fusillo, drums; Bill Groth, piano; Jim Ryan, bass, me.
Ken Wright
Taken at Dailey's.

Me, Charles Loehle, (guitar), James Bartlett, (bass)

With one of my favorite 'bone players - Derek White.
That's bassist extraordinaire' Neal Starkey in the background.

With the great blues singer Francine Reed at Fuzzy's.
I love playing with Francine - she is so flexible, and has great ears!
Fuzzy's has a vibe all its own, unlike any place in Atlanta.
