In front of the Inman Ball Field on Virginia Avenue

I just couldn't resist this one. She looked so happy!
She was waiting for her son to come out,
and she laughed when I told her I took this photo.
Thank you, Meredith.

I wanted to step in front of her and get a slightly different angle,
but sometimes being a photographer will take you out of being an observer and into the action, and then people get self-conscious. (Rats!)

Ever tried taking pictures while riding a bike?
I figured out how to focus with my pinkie
and hold the camera in the same hand.
Don't try this at home.
Don't even try it in public, either...

Fountains at 999 Peachtree

Window shopping on Peachtree. Gee, we're getting so sheik!

At one time, this was the only place in town you could get nude
pictures your girlfriend developed.
(Would you like some of your girlfriend? Ha!)
Then it closed, and all us closet shutterbugs
did the 'duck and cover' at Eckerds.
Then we just went digital -
For a while, it was Mayor Franklin's campaign headquarters.
Now, it just sits empty. What a great building.
I hope someone uses it for something nice one day, and doesn't rip it down
